D96 literacy night images

Wednesday, February 26, 6:30pm-7:45pm

Join D96 teachers and families to dive into reading! Explore literacy stations led by D96 staff and junior high students. Games and challenges will vary by grade level, so everyone can go at their own pace. Plus, enter a gift card raffle, visit the public library info tables, & win prizes!

  • Students complete a craft while adults attend a literacy info session (6:30, 6:45 (Spanish), 7:00pm)

  • Enter our Escape the School Challenge!

  • Play word study games & explore the Little Free Library

  • Author and former D96 student Abby Regan reads her book, “Not Your Average Oatmeal.” Copies will be available for purchase and signing. (7:25pm-7:45pm)

This district-wide event is for Pre-K-Fifth Graders and their families (parent/guardian must accompany student). It takes place at Hauser: enter through the main doors on Woodside Road. Activities will take place in first floor classrooms, the library, and cafeteria.
