A Greeting From Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Martha Ryan-Toye
While warm weather still seems so far away, the halfway point of the school year has us looking to the end of the year and even into the next. At February’s Board Meeting, we approved the 2025-26 calendar, appointed a new assistant principal at Hauser and a new director of technology for the district, shared student achievement awards, and discussed upcoming events.
Currently, we are seeking direct input about our school environment and your child’s educational experience through the statewide 5Essentials Survey. In order for the results to be released to the district, 20% of parents at each school must participate. Please help us gather these results by taking the 5-minute survey by March 28.
We have also launched an even easier way to stay connected with updates like these through a district app. This gives on-the-go access to school events, lunch menus, and district news. In addition to district updates, parents can choose specific schools to get updates from. Download the D96 app for free on Apple or Android devices.
As always, thank you for your partnership in supporting the success of our students and schools. Together, we are “empowering learners for life!”
